HJD Homes designed and built our custom home and truly made our dream a reality! From day one all the way though the entire building process, everyone at HJD Homes was a pleasure to work with. We were blown away with how smooth the home building process was with HJD and during a time of supply shortages, they still were able to make building our home look easy. We came to HJD with an idea of a house we wanted and Katy used her magic to design the house of our dreams! She was such a pleasure to work with and is so very talented at what she does. We still cannot get over the front elevation she designed for our home! It's better than we could have imagined! We were impressed with the accuracy of David's bids obtained during the budgeting process as well as his forethought on ordering materials to offset any delays. For instance, he had our window package set to be ordered the very day we signed our contract! David and Trey worked to keep us on track throughout the build and utilized their expertise to make suggestions that improved the functionality of our home. In the event any issues popped up, they were resolved swiftly. David and Trey visited the job site very frequently and would often make it out when we were visiting just incase we had any questions. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our build. We are so impressed with our home. All of HJD's hard work resulted in a beautiful custom home that is truly a dream come true. We would build with HJD time and time again and we cannot recommend them enough. Building with HJD was a great experience! Katy handled the design of our custom home and David and his crew helped make it a reality. We had a few bumps in the road as most new home builds do, and the way they handled them and worked with us thoughout the build really showed how much they care and stand behind their work. My remodeling experience with HJD Homes exceeded my expectations in every way. Efficiency, organization and quality of materials and workmanship were evident from Day 1. David excels in scheduling and follow-up. His communication skills are excellent. Katy and David are such a creative team. I love their positive, can-do attitude. We have lived in the Taylor area since the early 1980’s and Troy and I have been both very involved in our community so when we decided to build a new home we had many builders in mind to contact. This was our first custom build so we did not know what to expect. David, Trey, Katy and Megan were great to work with. Always responded to our needs. David helped reworking details in our plans on the fly to make things flow better. He redesigned beams we had in the living area which were so much better than our original idea. It was a trying year as we all know, but the HJD staff made us feel comfortable during the process and were always willing to work with us to solve any issue that came up. Always responsive and patient, as I tend to change my mind a lot! Love the house!
